At the Gedeb Worka Kebele washing station in Chelichele, only the ripest handpicked red cherries make their way down the mountain to be sorted before processing. Coffees are pulped and allowed to ferment naturally for 28 hours. Dried parchment coffee is then laid to rest in their field warehouse until it is transported for further processing in Addis Ababa. This microlot is an exceptional offering from the renowned Yirgacheffe region; clean, sweet, juicy, and generous.
